Summer 2008 ARC 608-609 Upper Level Architectural Design Studio: A Green Dormitory. This studio was co-taught with Dennis Hector and Jacqueline James, a structural engineer and professor from the School of Engineering. The work was presented to university officials to begin the process and discussion of seeking a large grant from the State of Florida re: Passive cooling systems in building design.

Spring 2008 Traveled and taught the Rome Program for the undergraduate students. Led a Design Studio called Designing the Archaeological Landscape (A Visitor Center + Aqueducts) and one field drawing course Hand Drawing in Rome , ARC 548. The studio was taught in collaboration with Prof. G. Strappa and Alessandro Camiz of the Facolta di Architettura Valle Giulia, Universita di Roma Sapienza. Public presentations in Castle Madama were conducted in conjunction with Italian students - exhibition to follow.

- Drawing Exploration Part IV Spring 2008, Two months teaching and drawing in, Venice and Greece. Focusing on Le Corbusiers Journey to the East. Retraced Corbusiers 1911 route While drawing buildings and the city, studied spatial sequences in Venice, Completed over 150 drawings and paintings. -
- Drawing Exploration Part III Summer 2007, Spent three weeks drawing and painting in Amsterdam, Holland, and Brussles. Focused on landmark structures. Completed over 40 drawings and paintings.
- Drawing Exploration Part II Three months drawing in Venice, and Berlin. While drawing buildings, I began to explore the city as a theatrical stage set and also studied the actual theaters themselves. Completed over 100 drawings and paintings. - Fall 2006
- A Drawing Exploration - Three month study of Le Corbusiers Journey to the East. Retraced Corbusiers 1911 route (the conceptual framework) and created over 120 small paintings that attempt to redesign the traditional methods of interpreting art and architecture. - Summer 2004

Acting Curator of the gallery and all exhibits at the University of Miami School of Architecture the following exhibits have been executed under my leadership:
- Jacob Brillhart and Errol Barron = Sketchbooks "Visual Thinking In the Digital Age" The exhibition of over 50 Sketchbooks and paintings explored the role of hand drawing in the design process. Spring 2009
- Designed and built four multimedia (flexible locations) hanging plexiglass panels, display tables and podiums that allow the existing gallery space to accommodate professional exhibits.
- The Three Romes an exhibition celebrating 16 years of students studying in Italy. - Fall 2007
- Luigi Moretti: Tutte Le Ville (1931 1973) - an exhibition that studies the lesser known topic of architect Luigi Moretti and his work on the single family dwelling. - Summer 2007
- Tradition and Sustainability: Architecture and Urbanism as if the Future Matters. Produced by The Princes Foundation for the Built Environment, 10th Anniversary Touring Exhibit Fall 2008
- On the Waterfront, an exhibition built downtown at the Freedom Tower exploring over 200 student design ideas for the seven miles of undeveloped Miami waterfront. - Fall 2008
- New Federal Architecture: The GSA (General Services Administration) Design Excellence Program an exhibition celebrating new federal architecture by famed contemporary architects of the day. Fall 2008

BOOKS
Visual Thinking in the Digital Age: Sketchbooks and paintings of Errol Barron and Jacob Brillhart; a Catalog for the drawing exhibition held the University of Miami School of Architecture.
Voyage Le Corbusier, is a compilation of drawings I completed in Europe while retracing Le Corbusiers Journey to the East, both traveling alone and with the students.
WATER BASED is a 400 page portfolio my design work. It attempts to illustrate my interest in varied visual mediums as a way to develop more inventive design proposals.
Tonic Architecture via Small Buildings is a condensed publication of architectural design work that begins to anticipate a future where architecture is packed within practical, minimal and problem solving structures. (Produced for the 2009 Young Architects Competition at the Architectural League of NY)
Studio Works I is a book I assembled of student designed projects under my supervision at the University of Miami School of Architecture.
